While many believe thongs are completely off-limits for plus size women, many (including myself) love to wear them because of the benefits they provide. Not only would we appreciate them due to the benefits that they provide but our significant other will as well!
- No panty lines – EVER: Many women, and yes even plus size women, hate to have panty lines. It is simply unattractive and really throws your entire outfit off balance. When you have clothes that fit a little tighter in areas, plus size thongs are ideal so that the panty line doesn’t show through. You receive a feminine look with thongs.
- One word – Sexy: Thongs are simply sexy. They have been known as the sexy underwear since they became available on the market for purchase. This is nonetheless the case with us plus size women as well. Just because we are plus size doesn’t mean that we can’t wear thongs and be sexy too.
- Comfort: Thongs can be very comfortable but for some people they may be uncomfortable and for this reason they are not for everyone. However, thongs normally won’t chafe against your skin causing irritation. The type of material you choose will depend on what is comfortable. While lace may be perfect for some, silk or cotton plus size thongs would be ideal for others.
Finding Plus Size Thongs
Since plus size clothing stores have been on the rise as of late, it is much easier to find plus size thongs and other clothing. You can take your choice to shop online or at your local department store(s). Just make certain that you know the right size that you should purchase. Thongs are just like any other piece of clothing or regular underwear, an ill-fitting pair will be uncomfortable causing you to feel undesirable. This is the opposite effect of what you want.
It is your choice if you think plus size thongs are a crazy idea or a fantastic one. Plus size thongs are not off-limits for plus size women no matter the shape or size. However, they are off-limits if you feel uncomfortable wearing them. You are the ultimate deciding factor when it comes to plus size thongs. If you decide to wear them, you’ll feel as sexy as ever and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!
