Yup, you read the title right. There is actually a pageant that is solely dedicated to plus size women. Why shouldn’t they have their own pageant? They are just as beautiful as anyone else in their own sophisticated and elegant way!
In the United Kingdom, plus size women dressed to impress and claim the 2010 title of Miss BBW UK, which stands for Big Beautiful Woman. And no, I’m not talking about tone plus size women of size 12 – I’m talking about larger ladies in size 22, 24, etc. In order to compete in the pageant you must be a size 18; however, the average dress size at this year’s pageant was actually a size 24. And, boy, did those ladies rock those dresses.
This pageant helps plus size women take that much needed step toward confidence. A pageant for plus size women allow for them to finally feel like they are the most beautiful things in the world. When they are up on that stage, that’s how they feel. They don’t feel ashamed; they don’t feel like they are nothing. They feel wonderful and that is exactly how each and every plus size woman should feel.
There are so many men that love larger sized women and there were tons of them at this pageant drooling over the beautiful women showing their confidence and class on stage. As a plus size woman, you just need to have the patience as well as determination to find one. You are sexy as hell and the women that participated in the 2010 Miss BBW UK pageant, which is currently set to be held each year as an annual event, have shown you that. Strut your stuff girl like you own it and remember you are beautiful!
